T-technology infrastructure
Analyzing
existing legacy systems and point solutions. Analysis of the kind
of e-architecture required to support the e-business is made at
this key stage. Some of the issues addressed include integration
with disparate legacy systems, existing hardware infrastructure
and whether to develop e-business solutions in-house or subcontract
them or buy an existing product. Other issues such as security,
scalability, flexibility etc are resolved as well.
E-enterprise
wide business processes
Analyzing enterprise wide business process
and e-enabling them. Every single business process across the enterprise
including the various entities involved and their interaction are
analyzed judiciously. This is done in conjunction with the various
process owners within the organization, the focus being on process
re-engineering and e-enabling these processes with the e-perspective.
Processes of outside partners such as suppliers and dealers are
also analyzed.
P-pilot
Build pilot/proto to highlight improvement
in business efficiencies. This refers to the development of a full-fledged
prototype to highlight the capability and power of application.
Higher profitability will be witnessed at the end of this phase,
as you will be in a position to evaluate the potential of the solution
in terms of increased revenue and cost reduction. This phase marks
the decision point for the scope of the entire project.
